CELESTE Margo Le Roux (pictured), CEO and Co-founder at React24 and Co-founder of React Training College, has won the Standard Bank Top Woman Entrepreneur 2020 Award.
The awards honour women whose vision and leadership has positively impacted other women in South Africa. In response to the pandemic, the awards were completely virtual this year.
“I am so extremely proud to be a part of these prestigious awards and the reality is that I could not achieve such success on my own,” said Le Roux, thanking her “amazing team” at React24.
“This award is a culmination of our diligence at React24 and proof that we are on the right path. It means so much because it reflects what the team has achieved, and it is just as much a celebration of them as it is of me.”
Karla Fletcher, Head of Marketing at Topco Media, the organisers of the awards, said they stand as a beacon to all women facing gender discrimination in their industries by bringing the gender agenda to the forefront.
“We believe that now more than ever, it is crucial to recognise the companies and individuals such as Celeste Margo Le Roux who are making impactful change for gender empowerment in South Africa,” Fletcher said.
